Welcome Parents and Families to Graysville Elementary School! 

My name is Stephanie McGuire and I am the Title I Parent Involvement Coordinator for Graysville Elementary School. My primary role is to support our families and provide information on how you can become fully engaged in your child’s educational experience! 

I want to encourage you to visit our Family Resource Workroom, located in Room 302, to learn more about the many ways you can get involved in our school, and to check out the resources that are available for you to help your child succeed in school. I am committed to doing whatever I can to make sure you feel confident in fulfilling your role in your child’s education. I look forward to partnering with you in making this year full of fun, learning, and memories!

  • Our Parent Resource Workroom is located in Room 302 in the sensory hallway on your way to the cafeteria. We have many parenting resources available to you in our Family Resource Library. Items available include; parenting books for check-out, brochures on academic and parenting topics, and books and activities for children. You are welcome to borrow these resources to use at home and return them when you are finished. The Parent Resource Workroom is also the main location for our volunteers to gather and support one another and our teachers. We would love for you to stop by and check it out!  The Parent Resource Workroom is open during regular school hours.

  • As the parent of a child attending a Title I school, you have the right to request any meetings you feel are needed by contacting Stephanie McGuire, Parent Involvement Coordinator. We are committed to providing opportunities for parents to attend regular meetings to formulate suggestions, share experiences, and participate in decisions related to the education of your child. To learn more about our Title I Parent and Family Engagement Program, review our school policy on the GES website or in the Parent Resource Workroom. We always value your feedback and suggestions. 

  • We want parents to play an active part in decision-making at GES. If you have any input or suggestions for our Parent Involvement Program, Title I Policy, or our Title I budget, please email Stephanie McGuire, Parent Involvement Coordinator, at smcguire.ges@catoosa.k12.ga.us, fill out an Input Card, located in the Parent Resource Workroom (Room 302), or complete the online google form here. Title I budget information can be found under the Title I page on our school website. For more information about how we spend our Title I funds, please review our Annual Meeting presentation on the school website. We want to hear from you!

GES LOVES PARENT VOLUNTEERS!

If you are interested in being a GES Parent Volunteer, please fill out this form online or print this form to complete and return it to the Parent Involvement Coordinator, Stephanie McGuire. Your talents will be put to use in a variety of ways for as much time as you are able to spend volunteering. Your children love seeing their parents "working" at their school.

Volunteer Orientations are held twice a year, but if you are unable to attend, a virtual orientation will be available online. Please be sure to sign up for the Title I Remind so that you are kept up-to-date on the latest Title I events and opportunities!
